SW confirmation that Frozen Friday is initially funded by PTFA (purchase of ice lollies) the classes sell the items and therefore all funds are then retained by PTFA instead of being split between classes - this has historically been how frozen friday money has been arranged. Agreement from PTFA present tonight to continue this way SW suggested Iceland online order for ice lollies would need PTFA member to be at school to put lollies into PTFA freezer Frozen friday proposed to commence after Easter holidays
Confirmation from Mrs Woolley that PTFA are not required to provide refreshments for easter festival, bonnet parade is quickly after registration and performances are too busy to include refreshments.
PTFA to organise Fruit for children + staff Drinks + pastries for those watching KS1 = 7th July KS2 = 8th July
Proposed date Saturday 13th June School have a hall booking every saturday until 14:30 Would require event to run later ?15:30 - 18:30, PTFA to review again at the next meeting Extra Events / Competitions: Peter pan themed one off sale discussion to support publicity and excitement around Drama performance CB - letter hunt for school, anagram, prize. JP ? competition to design or come up with craziest way to not grow up. KP ? fairy cake bake sale.. JP non school uniform dress up as peter pan Mrs Woolley confirmed support for Peter Pan themed non school uniform dress up (pirate, fairy, lost boy, PJs like Michael etc…) as well as activity sheet and letter hunt for KS1 and KS2, that children can undertake independently at lunch or break time. Sheets to be handed into teachers and PTFA to arrange peter pan themed prize Agreed Friday 20th March, suggested £1 donation on the gate at drop off Ceilidh, JP delayed date, will bring a proposal when they are ready Projects:
HT creating document for vision, planning, timelines, community involvement, RHS and school gospel themes to all tie in together - bringing to March meeting Mrs Wooley supportive of spring and autumn events for planting and putting garden to bed
JP reviewing form to go out to PTFA community for feedback regarding how we can best communicate and engage as a community Action 83+62 |
