For the meeting to be quorate at least 24 members must be present =

  • 50% of the current standing committee (rounded to the nearest whole number) must be in attendance = 6 as there are 12 current elected committee members

  • a minimum of 18 members must be present (members of the association = parents, guardians, carers, teachers, non teaching staff) 


Every member present is entitled to 1 vote on every issue

Raised = £16,805.07

Doesn’t include pending frozen fridays or sports day sales.

PTFA team commitment and decision making ensuring we raise funds and spend funds in line with our charitable status for the enhancement of learning and experience in our school.

Charlotte B creativity leading on Xmas designs, crafts, peter pan trail, summer fayre and IT experience

Carly, joining as a coopted member, supporting and learning all things Disco

Georgette, joining as a coopted member and becoming our shopper, tackling stock checks and orders

Harri, leading on the uniform shed 

Johanna, creating our newsletter and supporting plans to develop strategies for more effective and meaningful engagement

Lynsey, organisation, preparing, coordinating and tackling the undercroft to ensure we can run both our christmas and summer fayres

Marcus, supporting all events by maintaining the website, creating online ticketing, managing online payments and being our wifi / sumup wizard

Simon, ensuring oversight of our finances supporting more effective and governed structures to demonstrate our accountability

Heather, thank you for everything you have contributed in continuing the legacy of the grow with it project.  

Sandra, all things Disco and all things PTFA, your experience and knowledge has been invaluable this year.

Heather and Sandra have decided not to stand again and we thank both of you for everything you have contributed

KP asked if anyone had any questions -

SW = cashier(s) still need to be appointed, answered by KP, absolutely we will be speaking with the newly appointed PTFA members to see who can take on this role(s).


Next Meeting

PTFA committee meeting 15th July - time tbc

details will be sent out via class reps. We will endeavour to try and meet face to face however we often end up having to meet online.

This meeting will be prioritising handovers are happening/ have happened as well as planning our calendar of events and meetings for the next academic year so these can be published at the beginning of September at the latest.

We will be meeting with School after the meeting to confirm dates.

Term 1 and 2 will include, new parent meeting, disco, Xmas designs and shop and Xmas Fayre any support from any of our members is welcome to help prepare and plan these events.
