Christmas Fair 23!

The biggest event in the PTFA calendar took place on Sunday 3rd December - the St Bons Christmas Fair! We donned our silliest festive wear and and welcomed in families, friends and the neighbouring community to share in an afternoon of fun! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did - read on to see how much was raised!

Were you a winner?

We had all the usual fun stalls, our ever popular 'Higher or Lower' game and of course our amazing Auction. We are so grateful to every business who provided such generous prizes!

The class hampers get more impressive every year! Better than any I've seen in shops! All Hamper and Auction winners have now been contacted. Please check your emails in case you were one of the lucky ones!

A big thanks to our fabulous auction host, Andrew!

A Visit from Santa!

Of course we had a visit from the main man, Father Christmas who had so many lovely chats with the boys and girls. I hear everyone was on the Nice List, phew! Thank goodness for that! A huge thank you to Santa and his fantastic Elves for making the children's visit so special.

And a big thank you to Team Grotto for decorating the new grotto area so beautifully - it really looked spectacular!

Bouncy Castle!

Not just for summer! Kids of all ages had a chance to blow off some energy at our Frozen themed bouncy castle. Many thanks to the Reception teachers for allowing us to locate it in the kids play area, keeping everyone nice and dry while they enjoyed!

Outdoor Real Ale and Hot Dog Bar!

We were delighted to offer not just an outdoor bar for grown ups to enjoy, but a real ale bar with actual draft pints of delicious local Bristol beer! Thanks to Bristol Beer Factory for supplying kegs, banner, pint glasses and more. And a huge thanks to Lucia and class 3B for helping pull all this together!

Name the Husky!

This big fella needed a new name, and fast! Thankfully the smart thinking kids of St Bons were able to come up with some truly wonderful suggestions!! The lucky winner was Sean Coveney who named him Mr Snuggles! Congratulations Sean, we are sure Mr Snuggles is going to love his new home.

Look back at the day with our little video:

So, what was raised?

It is not easy to pull the Christmas Fair together but our amazing team of volunteers worked really hard behind the scenes! The value and volume of prizes they managed to secure meant we were able to put on an online and in-person auction.

Together with the many many people who helped out on the day, we raised a PHENOMENAL.....

£6617!

We cannot thank you all enough!

Most of all however, we hope you and your loved ones enjoyed the festivities!
