Summer Fair 23!

Has it nearly been a week since the Summer Fair?! What a gorgeous day we had - the thunder storms that threatened thankfully stayed away and we were blessed with wall to wall sunshine!

As ever, it was with joy that we opened the school gates and welcomed in family, friends and the local community!

We were blown away by how many people came along to support the fair, and for the first time, our Yr6 Makers Market where budding Young Enterprise students sold their very own products and services. All in aid of their own chosen charities. The standard of the crafts was really amazing, but unfortunately for poor Mrs Ansell the 'Soak the Teacher' stall did prove to be popular!

The Class Hampers get bigger and better every year! They are just incredible and congratulations to the lucky winners who have all been notified by now - enjoy!

We received some really amazing donations as part of our Silent Auction - a signed Gloucestershire County Cricket top, Family tickets to Longleat and x2 tickets to England v Ireland one day international cricket match.

Many thanks to those parents who so generously secured those and other prizes!! Here is one of the lucky winners proudly sporting his new shirt...

We would also like to thank the following businesses for their generous donations to our fair:

  • Joes Bakery

  • Skyboat Café

  • La Campagnuola restaurant

  • Elly Shearman tennis

  • Romantica gift store

  • Kondi Brasserie

  • Westbury Tavern Pub

  • East Somerset Steam Railway

  • Max Minervas book store

  • Pieminister

  • Toot Bus Tours

  • Hideaway Forest School

  • Gymboree

  • Laura's Pizzas

  • Sarah Kenny estate agents

  • Bar44 tapas

  • Pauline Quirke Theatre School

A shout out to our amazing food stall volunteers who braved the heat all afternoon, serving up delicious freshly cooked Thai and BBQ food!
