Another school year over and where has it gone?! It can often be an emotional time; plenty of hugs and the odd tear at the school gate - and that's just the parents!
For the PTFA committee, it is time to take stock and reflect. 'Rona' has not left us of course, however, we have been able to stage more and more in-person events. Some for the first time in nearly 3 years, and what a joy it has been! From online virtual discos to a packed out summer fair, it feels wonderful to have witnessed school life re-opening.
So many people have worked incredibly hard and to all our amazing volunteers we say THANK YOU!! You have helped raise funds that will go to our school and pupils. It may not feel like much, but every ice lolly and cup of tea sold really does help. Just look at this for a result....
Final figures are still coming but as at today, for the 21/22 school year we raised more than £14,000!!
We have already donated £3k to the school over the course of the year and will be funding new playground equipment (construction due to begin in Jan 23). We will be speaking with the school next term to understand where our funds can make most difference and continue to support their aims.
As always, we love to hear your ideas and suggestions so get in touch!
It is an understatement to say that this is an great position to end on. Truly it would not be possible without your support!
Thank you! A+ all round!!
