The St Bons PTFA Committee will meet
on 21st April 2026 via googlemeet from 19:30 to 21:15

MC discussion about sumup and how there will need to be increased work to administrate sumups to work in a different way to work with accounting methods. MC payment to be made to Year 6 leavers group - email from them on the 10th April did not appear for KP of SV. MC has forwarded email to KP and SV - will be paid ASAP. |

SW Ensure tickets for disco are provided to the office to support those children who are eligible for free school meals - KP will do this ? PTFA card available to make required disco purchases Ticketing go live 27th April Changing adult ticket wording to ‘Adult helper’ to make it clearer all adults attending are expected to support running of the disco Invite reception teachers to see if they want to attend and help with paediatric first aid, safeguarding and fire marshal for their class disco - SW will email Alex fundamental fire marshal PTFA team to then be responsible for evacuating all people fundraising at the disco Glitter and tattoos Food (not reception) healthy snack as well as sweets / chocolate / crisps Drink fizzy as well as water, purchase cartoons of juice for reception and KS1 ? glow stick not sustainable / non-plastic alternatives ?paper flower garlands, head boppers / hair extensions, paper funky glasses - disco sub group looking at this to purchase up to same amount as previous glow sticks. KP to confirm with caroline what time we can get into hall ? 14:45. SV and SW will liaise with GD to confirm purchases made directly with the ptfa account.

Agreed 13th June 15:30-18:30 CB and LF reviewing summer fayre past information to feedback to PTFA committee in May regarding what we would run this summer fayre KP detail we need to consider, what we are running, where it will take place within the school grounds, back up if raining CB is there a summer theme - not historically, but there could be Extra Events / Competitions: HT suggest running sunflower competition again over the summer Projects:
Meeting with Mrs W to be added to PTFA log on google drive school going for the ‘School Sanctuary Award’ Eco stewards HT to be in contact with Mrs Higgins re-paint pots from each class Posters for each raised bed whats in it and why HT to speak to JP to include request for more gardeners to join the whatsapp sub committee

HT = Publicising roles + Chair Bishop road have a poster on the gates ‘do something amazing for our school, be our chair’ Laminated newsletters on the gates SV - ? could we go out to Bishopston voices. KP = yes we are a PTFA so can appoint a friend for a set period of time. RJ - ? poster publicising this at the disco as well SW succession planning for cashier SW will contact CM to confirm if she is happy to take on cashier role. |
